Tasesa James Lavea〔(LAVEA, TASESA JAMES 2000 – 2001 – KIWI #683 ) ''nzleague.co.nz''〕 (born 10 January 1980) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer of Samoan descent and heritage, who currently coaches in the Auckland 1st XV 1A competition for King's College. ==Career== born 10 January 1980 in Taihape, New Zealand, Lavea played first five-eighths (fly-half) for the Blues in Super Rugby from 2004 to 2006, and played both first five-eighths and second five-eighths (inside centre) for the Chiefs in the 2007 and 2008 seasons. In 2009 he rejoined the Blues At provincial level, Lavea has played fly-half for Auckland in the Air New Zealand Cup (known pre-2006 as the NPC) since 2003, and will join Counties Manukau from 2008. His current contract with the NZRU runs through to 2009. He played for French Top 14 team ASM Clermont Auvergne from 2009–2010 on for two seasons.〔(As announced by ASM Clermont Auvergne )〕
